Adoption SUCCESS STORIES

Sabrina

We found this sweet kitty the beginning of Oct 2023 in Jamestown, SC with a severely broken leg. She had abdominal staples indicative of a recent surgery, MORE recent then the broken leg!! We have no idea what happened, but can only assume someone did surgery, then realized how badly her leg was broken so dumped her.

When a good Samaritan brought her to our attention we immediately jumped into action. We performed surgery to reset her leg and one of our experienced fosters cared for her as she received months of physical therapy. She was recently adopted into a forever home and we cannot wait for this girl to be spoiled and live the life she deserves!!

Taco Bell

Taco Bell was found in a (you guessed it!) Taco Bell parking lot the weekend of New Years Eve. An absolutely amazing teenager spent 3 HOURS on her hands and knees to trap the scared kitten. As friends of ECPR they brought her to us to adopt her out.

As you can imagine (just look at that sweet face!) she had multiple applications and was adopted in less than 48 hours of being found!!

Congratulations to Taco Bell and her new Momma, who is over the moon to have a sweet furrr-ever friend!!

Scout & Finn

Scout was found between 2-3 days old in a parking lot and brought to us by a good Samaritan. One of our foster families took him in and bottle fed him for the next 6 weeks, and eventually transitioned him onto hard food. Not surprisingly, they fell in love and adopted him.

2 months later sweet Finn was brought into our clinic at approximately 6 weeks old by a teenager. He handed Finn to our front office staff and left without a word. The same foster family who adopted Scout took him in as he was extremely skittish. He flourished in their care, the kittens bonded and they decided to adopt him as well!

The 2 boys are absolutely obsessed with each other and their foster turned furrr-ever family. FOSTERING SAVES LIVES! Please consider becoming a foster today!

Lloyd, Westley, Buttercup, Merle and The Governor

All of these kitties have brought myself and my kids such joy.

Westley and Buttercup keep us safe from all those scary squirrels. Both coming from stray communities, and needing a safe home where they can come and go. Both love to snuggle on the back porch, climb trees, chase critters, and sun bathe.

Both Merle and Governor came to ECPR with injuries that left Merle as the fastest tripod I’ve ever seen, and Governor with 1 &1/2 eyes but never misses a beat and if he sees that you need a snuggle he is there.

Lloyd came to us as an abandoned kitten with 2 litter mates, what can I say about Lloyd….well he’s crazy…gotta watch out for those orange boys!

Because of ECPR, all these loving characters got to have a second chance at life and they are living it up!

John Laurens and Lafayette

They joined our family on May 20, 2022. It took them all of 48 hours to make themselves completely at home. They are the sweetest, silliest, snuggliest kitties. We’re so glad we rescued.

ECPR posted several photos of them online before we finally couldn’t take seeing them behind bars. The adoption process was insanely easy.
