Our Mission
East Cooper Pet Relief was created to support and protect the human-animal bond. Our mission is to provide veterinary care and assistance for marginalized people and animals in the East Cooper Community. Our focus is not only to care for and place animals in forever homes, but we also focus on humans who care deeply for animals but have financial, physical or transportation limitations.
About Us
East Cooper Pet Relief was created by Drs. Leslie and David Steele, owners and licensed veterinarians at Advanced Animal Care in Mt Pleasant, SC. They have dedicated their lives to the well-being of animals, and are passionate about preserving the human-animal bond.
East Cooper Pet Relief is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue. Our mission is to rehabilitate and home stray animals, as well as to provide population control in the East Cooper area.
